This section provides information about the Loans Service. Please read the FAQ's below for the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.

  • Q - How do I get my password?
  • A - Only members receive a password. If you are a new member your password will be automatically sent to you.
  • Q - How do I become a member?
  • A - You will need to sign a Service Level Agreement. We can send one by post - please contact us.
  • Q - The budget I am allocated by the LEA or my school is not enough to allow me to sign up for a yearly membership - can I still use the service?
  • A - Boxes can be ordered on an individual basis without signing up to the scheme. However, this is not a cost-effective way of ordering - schools that join the service are able to obtain loans boxes at a greatly reduced price. In order to overcome the problem of limited budgets, Reading Museum Service offers a more flexible membership scheme. Please contact us or click here for details.
